The journey of our flowers from the Cornish farm to your home — farming, picking and posting, next day flower delivery doesn’t mean a rushed gift (far from it!), Petalon’s flowers are thoughtfully designed, sustainably sourced (often homegrown), and carefully packaged to ensure whoever receives them feels maximum joy.
Part 1: Turn arable land into a flower farm

This part obviously takes a little time – progression over a number of years in fact!
Petalon farm took over previously over-farmed land where the eco-system was dying and therefore, took a number of years to fully yield.
2. Design our beds

A huge amount of work and thought goes into designing our flower farm. Flowers generally take about 1 season to grow, padding those out so that we have variation week-to-week.
If you would like to find out more about how Florence Kennedy does this, come to one of our Farm Days and learn from the team!
3. Pick the flowers

Our fantastic team are on it every day – picking flowers at their best point for long life and a stunning look.
A bed will keep giving over the course of it’s cycle before it needs to be re-sown.
4. Tend to the animals

The best flower farms add positively to the eco-system. Everything has it’s place to make this happen.
5. Make a bouquet!

Check out Florence’s Instagram if you want to find out more how to do this.
6. Wrap the bouquet in gorgeous hessian

This section is hard to master!
7. Packaged lovingly

Grown with love throughout the year and available to you next day delivery. That’s Petalon!
