We’re currently in our 9th week of using 100% homegrown flowers from our farm – not one single imported stem!
We’re all set to continue using only homegrown flowers next week, meaning we’ll have beaten our record from last year. And next year we hope to continue that trend, thanks to some new flower beds…
Our wonderful herd of mixed animals were on this field last summer, grazing, pooping, trampling, snuffling and generally doing their glorious, soil-enriching thing. That’s prepared the ground nicely for us to have some new flower beds here next year, though we’re yet to name it. Names for our other beds include Battenberg, Flapjack, California, Delph City, Cool Hardy and Hut Patch. We’ll be moving our perennials to these new beds, let us know if you have any good name suggestions!
